I spotted this little cafe in a side street off the main shopping thoroughfare. Brightly decorated on the outside, with a quirky name, that non Scottish tourists may not understand I chose a simple bacon (and cheese) toastie, and a latte. Just something to take the chill off me on this cold December afternoon. The latte arrived in a very large mug, and was lovely with a nice tasting coffee. I sat at my choice of table, nice and clean, and plenty of room for the 4 chairs, the other tables around the spacious eating area also having 4 chairs. The toastie arrived, freshly made, flavoursome and was lovely and plump. There were a busy couple of tables as I arrived and as they left they were also complimentary of their food. There was no rush on my part or the serving staff for me to 'eat up and leave' and I eventually headed out into the cold. I hope to visit in the future to for something more substantial and another mug of the latte.
